Beauty Tuesday : Current Favourites

Hey guys so I was looking though some old blog posts and realised I haven't done a favourites since December ! So I thought it was time to update you all so let crack on .

So I will start with the base product here and that is my doir star skin foundation I use this every time I use make up . I have reviewed this product I will link here and I still feel the same I did the finish is fantastic love this product.

Now for eyes I will start with mascara and that the maybelline lash sensational I love this is makes my lashes look so thick and long and it is very black and it does flake . The only downfall is that is it is not waterproof so if they brought out a waterproof version this may well become my new holy grail . Next up for eyes we have the colour tattoo in pink gold I  have been loving this as base recently and I have been pairing it with my next favourite .which is this this revlon colorstay in seductive  this is a lovely purple toned palette and I  have been using the lightest colour as my eye highlight and the darkest colour for give my crease some definition I may do a GRWM on my channel as it is a really pretty look .

Now for lips we have the Rimmel exaggerate is east end snob this has been all over you tube as the dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury lip cheat in pillow talk . I love this liner it is so creamy not drying on lips at all and really helps your lipstick stay . The lipstick I have using this with is the mac lipstick in please me I love this have babbled about it enough on here.The finial product is the maybelline elixir in blush essence been wearing this all the time since I brought it any I have reviewed this so will link it.

Valentines Day Make Up Look #1 : Pink Soft and Sexy

Hey guy so I am here to day with a bonus blog post I asked on twitter the other day if you would like two valentines make up looks this week and the response was good so this is the first one.

So for my base I decided to use mac mineralize moisture foundation I  am NC 15. As I wanted a really dewy  look as always putting my porefessional primer underneath  it . I used my usual concealer the seventeen stay time under my eyes as well as using  my usual mascara the colossal volume on my lashes  . 

Now I am staying with eyes as this is how I did because the foundation takes a while to set. So I used the maybelline colour tattoo in pink gold on my eyes then blended the edges with a  soft brown shadow or you could use your bronzer . While I was there I also filled in my brows with the  make up revolution ultra brow arch and shape pencil.

After this I went back to the face and powdered with my revlon naked powder and then set it all with my MUA setting spray . I wanted this look to last as there is nothing worse than having make up you feel the need to babysit all the time . For blush I used my sleek pumpkin blush palette and middle blush called squash with a duo fibre face brush. As it is super pigmented and swept that across the checks for a pink glow.  

For lips I used the revlon matt balm in elusive as it is very long lasting and an Avon lip gloss in pink provocateur . As I wanted go for quite a juicy kissable lip I suppose I also used individual lashes to give me be a bit of extra flutter but cant really see in the photo so it up to you . Blogmas Day 6: Fall Make Up Favourites

Hi guys so it time for some favourites for this time of year and some general favourites .You all enjoying blogmas so far ? lets crack on .

So to day I am going to talk to you about some of my fall favourites some things I have been loving for this time of year.  There is a lot  of things from make up to skincare to tools so I am going spilt in two make up on post skincare and tool another post. So lets dive in with the make up as that is what most of you are interested in. 

So lets kick off with the thing I have reviewed most recently which is the benefit big easy if you didn't see the review I will link it here. This is so natural look doesn't cake and lasts well I feel this would probably good for oily girls . It works well on my dry skin but the reason I say it maybe better for oily girls is because it is cream to powder finish.

Moving to the lip product you spy this is one of the Revlon matt balm in shameless and it a beautiful matt purple I just love it I think I will probably do a FOTD so you can see how it looks. The staying power is good and the biggest bonus is it doesn't get on your teeth result! 

Now on to some thing very exciting this was in my recently make up revolution haul and it is my new brow pencil. I used be in love the MUA power brow but now you can only get it on line and it is a bit pain to get hold off . So I ordered this it cheaper version of the soap glory brow pencil with the felt tip on one end pencil on other end. The pencil is amazing how the felt tip end has dried up already and I have only had it few weeks but I love the pencil its self . 

I have a nail polish here to which is not really make up but I am going to stick it in here any way as it doesn't really fit else where . Now there as been a fair bit of hype around the maybelline super stay 7 days polishes . I just dismissed it as nail polish never stays on me but this lasts longer than 24 hours on me which is a big deal. I can get  3 maybe 4 days out of this amazing I have red colour and berry colour.

Weekend FOTD: sick day

Hey guys so I have been ill for the past few days and today I am gong back to work and although I still sound ill I want to look healthy so this is the look I have gone for.

So I have gone for glow and awakeness in this look I used my normal primer benefit porefessional  then I used the doir skin star foundation review coming soon  and blended that in with the beauty blend review coming soon. I used my seventeen stay time concealer under my eyes and any where else I need coverage. My next step was powder and for this a used the sleek luminous powder in translucent as I didn't want to loose the finish of the foundation. 

Then I curled my lashes applied the colossal volume mascara then used my super shock black liner to line my upper water line and used a nude liner to line my bottom water line . Then I used the maybelline colour tattoo in pink gold to add some more light to the eyes . I filed my eye brows in the mua power brow pencil . 

Now to finish my face I bronzed and lightly contoured with benefit hoola bronzer then add squash blush from sleek to my checks to give me a bit of health pink glow . Then finished the look off with mac please me lipstick gently patted in to my lips with a little bit of carmex lip balm over the top to give  little bit of shine.

Empties

Hey guys so today I am going to talk to you about my empty products that have used up over the past few months I dont know if I done of these before on my blog or not but let crack on .

So my first empties is the shampoo and conditioner have been using recently and is the Vo5 nourish my shine . This leaves your hair so soft and tangle free it is amazing and it cheap and general on offer I have repurchased this and will continue to do so as I love it.

Stick with body and hair care the next is the sanctuary scrub I am not generally a scrub person but this is so nice a gentle but still does the job .I go this is a Christmas set one year I think I would definitely go back to it but I have others to use up at the moment . Then we move to skin bits my clinque cleansing balm love this but have found cheaper alternative. So will so an updates skin care routine  but if you don't mind spending a bit more is a definite winner removes all make up and doesn't sting eyes. The last skin care item is a toner by biotherm didn't like this at all was too harsh on my skin used most if but not fan would buy again especially not at £15.50.

The last things are just make up bits so my benefit primer love it repurchased don't thing I will ever stop does everything I want a primer to do. My mascara which is my colossal volume you all know I love this and I go three more backs at ready as I always get them when on 3 for 2 . Then finialy the they'er real mascara mini i do like this mascara can see what the hype it about but I prefer my colossal just my opinion but would buy again if I couldn't get my colossal volume

FOTD Friday : on a saturday opps hot pink lips

Hey guys so whats screams spring more than pink lip? Today I am going to show you a perfect every day look with a hot pink lip . An update post will be up soon on where I have been but lets crack on .

So today I decided to show you my go to spring look when that warm weather comes out those nudes go away and the hot pink lips come out . This is a look I will wear most days in warmer weather the only thing that changes is my base depending on how hot it is and how I am feeling.  In this look i use my professional primer as usual then I took my bourjois  healthy mix serum foundation as this gives you a great glow and doesn't cake which is great in the warmer months as foundation can go a bit funny in heat but this one doesn't. The concealer I used is my bourjois healthy mix concealer in the shade 51 under my eyes and over any redness.Then I used my max factor cream blush in soft pink on the check. I then powdered my skin with my Revlon nearly naked as it still allows the dewiness of the foundation to come though. For extra dewiness I used my Revlon highlighting palette in rosy glow . I then used my hoola bronzer to warm up the face and contour. 

For eye I kept it simple as I wanted the focus to be on the lip so I just curled the lashes and used my favourite mascara the colossal volume mascara . Then I used the No7 stay perfect mascara on my lower lashes as it doesn't smudge because it is a tube in mascara so perfect for this . I then applied my avon colour trend lipstick in doll pink for the lip I didn't use a liner as I didn't feel it was needed . If you wanted to spice thing up a bit you could add a bright coloured eye liner I added a green one but it doesn't show on the photo sorry guys. You buy cheap coloured eye liners from the drugstore if you want to add a bit more pop to the look.

The Beauty Blogger tag

Hey guys so today I decided  to do a tag post as I enjoy writing them and I think it lets you lot get to know me more. 

1. Why did you start blogging and how long have you been blogging for?  

I started blogging because I was reading blog and saw the community it created and how people actually listen to your opinions and thought it would be fun to do it myself . I have been blogging for a year and half I still love it I find it great fun .

2. Who's blog did you fall in love with first?

It was miss budget beautyy as she blogged everyday and there was always something different it also made me realise you dont just have to blog about high end products as i though this for a long time .

3. What was the first blogosphere hyped about product that you bought? Was it worth the hype? 

I think it was the revlon lip butters and at the  time I didn't think they where but with time they have grown on me funny how things do that. 

4. What are you five favourite things about blogging and being a Beauty Blogger?

1. reading other people thoughts and opinions on products that maybe you didn't like or have already reviewed .

2. the community you enter in to I know this sounds weird but if you question when you start blogging you find all these other bloggers and if a question you just ask and you get a response it amazing a especially the twitter community.

3. Watching your hard work pay off and your blog grow is amazing you start your blog and you think no will veiw then you start gaining followers and it is just and amazing feeling .

4.Writting my blog I love spending time putting the effort take nice pictures and change up my blog design to make look pretty and more attractive  

5. Comment this kinda goes with couminty but you migth realy scared to post something and then you get a really nice comment and you think I am so glad someone enjoys the effort I put in I  don't get many comments but that fine because the few I get are special.

5. What have you learnt from being a Beauty Blogger? 

 I have learnt a lot form blogging one is that I can do anything if I put my mind to even if the though scares me if I really want it I can do it .  That I have quite of commitment I blog everyday and that takes a lot of hard work. I have also had some great conversion with wonderful bloggers. 

6.Have you changed anything since becoming a Beauty Blogger? 

No not really I have gone though a few cameras because I am klutz's I will say thing have clear pictures is a must if you are blogger if people cant see what your talking about then they wont stick around.

7. What advice would you give to a beauty blogger just starting out? 

Don't do it for any other reason than you want to and you enjoy it if you do it for any other reason you will get bored . Just be yourself if your not it shows through and do it because you have passion for what you are talking about make sure your pictures are best they you can do. When I started I just used my phone and it worked for while . Until you know you want to carry then don't worry about fancy pants equipment .

Maybeillne - There mascara duh amazing 

Bourjois- I love there foundations

FOTD Friday : nude and natural

Hey guys so I am back for another FOTD Friday I am really enjoying   doing these posts I think it is nice way round off to the week . Now let crack on with post. 

So I have gone for a very natural look this week this is some thing you could wear every day and it would look just fine. You could probably get away with it for school you have to switch out the lipstick for a balm but that is easily done . 

So have my porefessional primer as always you know I how much I love this stuff so I would go on . I then have my bourjois healthy mix serum. I am really loving this at the moment it gives such a nice coverage and glow to the skin this is definitely going  be a go to in the summer. Then I have the collection illuminating concealer this has pink tone so great for under eye circles . Then I have set it all with my Revlon nearly naked powder so finely milled just sets it beautifully with out losing glow. 

On the cheeks I have max factor cream blush in soft pink i love this as base to powder blushes it lets that shine through. On top I have squash by sleek which  is in there blush palette pumpkin a beautiful bright pink that is super pigmented. I then have my sleek bronzer on from my  face forum kit in light  I have used this to just warm up the face and do some light contouring. 

On the eye I have pink gold colour tattoo all over the lid for a wash of colour and my maybelline colossal volume mascara . I use the permanent taupe  colour tattoo to fill in the brows and shape them a bit . Then on the lips is pink truffle one of my favourite nudes . Here is today video which shows you how I did this .

FOTD friday : Easter meal

Hey guys so today I am back with a face of day today me, my mum and sister went to frankie and bennys for tea as kind of a easter meal as me and my sister are both not home this weekend. . So I am going to show you the makeup I wore I also filmed it and that will be going up on my channel I will leave the link here when it is uploaded .

So this is pretty much become my everyday makeup routine but I have you used some different things and added stuff so I will show the eye make up them list what was used .

March favourites

Hey guys so I am going to a favourites post for you today as you will know I have brought a lot of new make up recently naughty I know but I have lots of new favourites for you.

So I am going to start with base products as I have two foundations I have been using this month they are the chanel vitalumiere aqua foundation . I never used to like this foundation because when I powdered it looked powdery. The second base is really new but I haven't stopped using since I got it that thats avon luxe silken foundation in porcelain this is my favourite foundation at the moment it gives such a nice finish to it not to dewy not too matt and not too yellow. So the product that has made my chanel vitalumiere wearable the revlon nearly naked powder. I am in love it so finely milled I can put it over anything and it just set it nicely without being chalky or cakey .

Hey guys it been a while since a did a make up review so hold on to you hats because thats what today's post is I last did a make up review in the middle of November !So lets get cracking

So this is a mascara I used to use when I first started using make up back when i was about 15 and was jsut wearing a bit of mascara to school lol.

Maybelline The Falise Mascara

Hey guys sorry for the rather intermittent blog posts but today I am back with a mascara review it one that has had a lot of hype about it .  

The Maybelline the falise mascara a picked this up about a week ago because I saw it in boots and saw they did a water proof version. So I thought will give it ago my other one is on it way out anyway but given the hype I was keeping a open mind . To be fair for a mascara its nothing particularly special in my opinion yes it stays on my lashes and doesn't flake but it doesn't really do much else .
