Getting The Perfect Blow Dry

Hello everyone I am back today with a hair post I am all about hair since going blonde I now have take more care of my hair.

1. Use heat protect spray this goes with any heated hair tool  but there are loads of heat protect spray that especially for blow drying I use the Toni and guy heat mist .

2. Make sure you use the diffuse nozzle that comes with your hairdryer this will help direct  the air and reduce frizz .

3. Make sure you are blowing drying your hair downwards so from root to tip blowing up wards opens up hair cuticles and cause frizz so this important to get that frizz free blow dry .

4. This goes in general but use a good brush I find for blow drying brush i find a paddle brush is best .I use the tangle teaser blow dry brush but you can also use a round brush this does take more practice though .

5.Use a serum on your hair this help with frizz but also fly away if you still have flyways after blow drying then spray some hair spray on the palm of your hand  and smooth your hand over the fly aways .

Valentines Day Make Up Look #1 : Pink Soft and Sexy

Hey guy so I am here to day with a bonus blog post I asked on twitter the other day if you would like two valentines make up looks this week and the response was good so this is the first one.

So for my base I decided to use mac mineralize moisture foundation I  am NC 15. As I wanted a really dewy  look as always putting my porefessional primer underneath  it . I used my usual concealer the seventeen stay time under my eyes as well as using  my usual mascara the colossal volume on my lashes  . 

Now I am staying with eyes as this is how I did because the foundation takes a while to set. So I used the maybelline colour tattoo in pink gold on my eyes then blended the edges with a  soft brown shadow or you could use your bronzer . While I was there I also filled in my brows with the  make up revolution ultra brow arch and shape pencil.

After this I went back to the face and powdered with my revlon naked powder and then set it all with my MUA setting spray . I wanted this look to last as there is nothing worse than having make up you feel the need to babysit all the time . For blush I used my sleek pumpkin blush palette and middle blush called squash with a duo fibre face brush. As it is super pigmented and swept that across the checks for a pink glow.  

For lips I used the revlon matt balm in elusive as it is very long lasting and an Avon lip gloss in pink provocateur . As I wanted go for quite a juicy kissable lip I suppose I also used individual lashes to give me be a bit of extra flutter but cant really see in the photo so it up to you . Blogmas Day 2: Make Up Monday :Top Five Berry Lips

Hi guys now originally this was going to be my  five favourite fall lips but once I picked them all out I realized they all this purple/berry colour .

So you all know how I love me lippy I must have about hundred of them and it is an ever growing collection because you can never have enough lippies right? However I have to say I have tried both high end and drug store and I have to say the drug store have down for me.

So lets kick off with everyones favourite the revlon balm stain in crush this is what started me on the purple berry tones. The best thing about this is it stay put does smear across your face or get on your teeth. It wears away evenly but have make sure lips are relativity  good condtion because it will stick to dry patches on your lips.

Now moving on to a more high end option now I do love my me a mac lippie every now again and think plumful has to be on of my favourites. Glossy so wearable not drying and goes with most look this tends to be my everyday berry.

Now on to another popular on the Rimmel Kate moss 107 now I have noticed with this one that it look different on everyone . On some skin tones it looks more red like on me and on some more berry. However this is very drying and I don't find it has the best staying power. 

Now the next lip stick is one of the revlon lip butters in raspberry pie I fell in love with this lipstick when I saw on a fellow blogger. However on me it doesn't look the same it looks more pink than berry on her looked so glossy and berrylike and on me no some much but I still use and love it .

Last but by no means least Avon oxford wine this is the deepest of the berries and can get messy if you don't use a lip liner. Overall though it is beautiful deep glossy berry which I have just fallen head over heels with . the only down side is that wear time is not very long and as said before it can smudge and does get on your teeth so not one you can throw on and forget about.

July Favourites

hey guys so this is a very late time to be posting a blog post but I have just got in form work so no is my time to write blog posts edit ect.

So this is blog post that was asked for even though only one person voted but this what they voted for so since they took the time to vote I will do it for them . So this is my July favourite now I am going to be honest I haven't brought any new make up in a while but I have been making a lot of rediscoveries from my stash so lets get in to it. 

So I was using my channel vita lumiere aqua everyday but recently in the heat I  have been reaching for my avon cc cream this evens out my skin perfectly. I don't really suffer from spots so I just need to hide my dark circles and even out my redness and this a bit of concealer does this . I love applying the product with my real techniques stippling brush it gives such a nice finish and makes it easy to build in the areas I need . 

To conceal I have been using the seventeen stay time which I dont think I have mentioned but it is like the collection concealer just not a dry but the some coverage just creamer . Then to apply this and cream blusher I have been loving the zoeva face shape brush it blends so easily and quickly and for cream blush you can just get the right amount where you need it. Keeping with the base theme I have been using my hoola bronzer a lot more now this is one I have de potted from a gift set but I have been using It lots to warm up my face and contour . then for highlight I have dug out my Revlon skin light so natural I have just be tapping a bit of this on my check bone beautiful. Finially  for lips I have been loving my strawberry short cake lip butter such a nice shade of pink goes with anything love it . that it for my July favourites see you soon.

Avon Best And Worst Video

Hey guys so I am not going to do a full post as I am in too much pain however I will leave you with today's video of my Avon best and worst .

Everyday Nudes

Hey guys so its video day today as you all no and today is on my favourite nude lipstick theses are the lipsticks that sit in a pot on top of my dressing table. 

so in the line up we have the revlon lip butter pink truffle,the avon luxe lipstick in peach veil , mac bare again supreme cream sheen ,avon lipstick in demure , soap and glory gloss stick in nudest , revlon lip lacquer in demure and finally revlon lip butter in creme brulee. 

   

So first up is pink truffle I wear this a lot as it easy to whack on when in a rush and love the berry tones in it. I had a bit of love hate relationship with the lip butters at first but I have grown to really like them I think I just hadn't found the right shade. Next up is the avon luxe lipstick in peach veil this I like but it is one that I don't wear too often as it is quite a dark nude. The I have my Mac lipstick in bare again which is a sheen supreme  which is another go to nude it glossy nice to wear on my lips and goes with anything.

Next up is the avon demure lipstick you all know I absolutely love this lipstick this just doesn't last as well as some of my other nudes and isn't quite a versatile it is still one of my most worn. The we come to one that pretty much lives in my handbag and that is the soap and glory gloss stick in nudist.I love this it is so moisturising so easy to apply in a rush the only down side to this is the sickness not good in a windy  day.

The final two don't really follow the trend of the others but I still love them a wear them lots the first on is the revlon lip lacquer in demure. this is not like the other demure lipstick I have this is more a pinky nude. I didn't think I was going to like these at first it thought I was going to hate them and find them sticky and uncomfortable but I dont . They really comfortable on the lips and no too sticky a great pink nude for every day .

Last and not least is the revlon lip butter in creme brulee I had to buy another one of these today as  my melted and could not be rescued. This I think is the nudest of all the nudes but gives you a really nice wash of colour on lips and is really moisturising .

FOTD Friday : spring summer make up

Hey guys so as it is friday that means it face of day day and video day so I will leave you link here and this is the make up look I did in the video today .

So for this look I did a purple eye look glossy lips and glowy skin which is think is a really nice look for the spring summer . The purple eyes make you look a wake and glowy skin is alway winner no matter what time of year it is .

Avon luxe lipsticks

Hey guys so today I am going to review of the avon luxe lipstick review I have two these lipstick.I featured in an avon haul I will link here .

So I have exquisite pink and peach veil  the pink is very pink and the peach is more of nude than a peach . they have nice formula.<1--more.-->

So the first is exquisite pink and out of the two this is one I prefer and I wear most often as it is prefect for spring and really adds a pop of colour to the face. Peach veil looks nice swatches but is more of deep nude on lips Both have nice creamy formula have average staying for lipstick. Avon true colour eyeshadow palette mocha latte

Hey so another avon post for no it is another avon week that nobody you about however if you like that I can do the rest of this week reviews avon related so let me know.

So I have quite a few of these palette all of which I use for different things one of which I have give to my sister that is purple on as she has brown eyes and it suit her perfectly . The one pictured above is the mocha latte palette and has quickly become my everyday palette.

Hey guys so today I am going talk to you about the foundation I have been wearing over the bad couple of weeks .

March favourites

Hey guys so I am going to a favourites post for you today as you will know I have brought a lot of new make up recently naughty I know but I have lots of new favourites for you.

So I am going to start with base products as I have two foundations I have been using this month they are the chanel vitalumiere aqua foundation . I never used to like this foundation because when I powdered it looked powdery. The second base is really new but I haven't stopped using since I got it that thats avon luxe silken foundation in porcelain this is my favourite foundation at the moment it gives such a nice finish to it not to dewy not too matt and not too yellow. So the product that has made my chanel vitalumiere wearable the revlon nearly naked powder. I am in love it so finely milled I can put it over anything and it just set it nicely without being chalky or cakey .

Avon haul

Hey guys so I got some avon stuff in the post this morning which I ordered and thought I would share them with you and my first thoughts as I used them to do my make up this morning .

Hey guys  this is the second blog post of the day. So today I am to be reviewing the Avon cc cream set to come out in this next campaign. 

So I have been using this for the past week instead of a foundation. It quite thick  a be cream but heavy on the skin. It so nice it just gets rid of any   discolouration.

Avon big colour eye pencil

Hey guys today I an here with an Avon post this has just come out and it is the Avon big colour eye pencil. I love eye pencils they are so quick and easy but to find a good one is hard . 

I have the shade gold rush which I love its a really nice gold shimmer shade that really makes my blue eyes pop but is not too shimmy so that you can wear it everyday. This I am happy to say is a lot better than the rimmel one mind you couldn't get much worse. they got a bit more but I think they are worth it they cost you six pound but at the minute on line they are three pound fifty .

Sunday night treats : Avon foot works healthy rough skin remover

Hey guys sticking with the foot care theme from last week I have another foot product for you this one from avon .

I have the most awful rough hard skin on my feet because I walk funny I roll in on my feet so I use this foot scrub to help . I use this before I get in the shower as you are meant to leave it for thirty seconds before washing it off . I really like I do think it helps along with a good foot cream and foot file .

lipstick of the moment : avon ultra colour lipstick demure

hey guys I did one of theses a while a go but you guys seem to like so I thought I would do another one for you.

My current choice of lip stick at the moment is a nude and I struggle to fine a nude that suits me well I don't know if it because I am so pale. This one by avon is perfect Not too pale not too brown in fact I think its more of peach nude if such a think exists. Its a called dermure and I have been wearing it lots .

It is from the new avon range which I did a review on link here it is available online or form your representative and it has been my go to lipstick these past few weeks . As I don't think it is quite the time for plums and reds but it definitely past the time of bright pinks oranges and peaches. So nude is the perfect inbetween colour .

A Sunday Night Treat : planet spa heavenly hydration face mask

Hey guys so  a bit of impromptu half a sleep blogging for you tonight a face mask I recently tried out which I thought would be very appropriate for a Sunday night blog post  

Its a planet spa one I brought from Avon called heavenly hydration and I will tell you this it does leave you skin feeling nice and soft and hydrated so that's a good start . The thing I like most about this product is the fact that when you apply you just look like have just moisturised because is just makes your skin shiny it not a weird colour or anything. it a very nice light gel like texture and it applies to the skin well and once you wash it off it doesn't  make you skin feel oily or like there is residue on it. As well as all this it is not that expensive I think when I got this it was on offer 2 planet spa items for 5 pounds on it own it was no more than a fiver but  wanted the facial oil too review on that soon. Sunday always seem like a day to pamper your self or is that just me ?

FOTD : one brand make up avon

Avon ultra colour lip colour

Hey guys it been a while since I did an Avon product since we had Avon week about month ago but on my popular posts they all seem to be Avon products so here we go.

So this is out in this next campaign it comes in 6 different shades fresh fuchsia,show stopper pink, reddy for me , care free coral and risque rose. The product it self is really nice it is really moisturising had some funky shades. My gripe with this product is that the felling when you rub your lips together it feels really gritty and bitty and just not nice .

The shade I have is risque rose as you can see swatched above on my lips as I said above it is really nice product . It lasts a really long time considering it is not a stain all the shades are simmer and think this what gives it the gritty feeling . It is available in this next campaign I am not sure on the price and it will be available from only Avon representatives at first as far as I know  .

Avon week:Mega effects mascara

Hey guys we made the finial post of Avon week woo . I am so glad but I have learnt my lesson next time I do one of these week it will be just a week. I will pre write them all in one before hand because other wise its too much. 

The mega effects mascara is going to come out in campaign 15 and had very odd applicator but it is meant to be the mascara that will change mascaras forever. Apparently the applicator is meant to be easier to use for people that suffer with arthritis how much that is true I don't know. 

The wand is well weird there no other way to describe it but it does give an amazing effect once you get the hang of it . I think this would be easier to use if we weren't all use normal mascara wands but as I say it just getting the hang off it . It not by any means cheap at £10 but it an intresting product to play with .

Personally if your intrigued buy it because Avon have 90 day money back a guarantee so if  you don't like it you can send it back even if used so really cant go wrong. It will be available from campaign 15 which is around mid September and will be 10 pound. I think at first it will only be  available  from your Avon Representative  but don't quote me on that .
