P.s love highlighter crayon

Hello, today I am back with a product review yes I am going talk makeup its been a while I know so let crack on .

So this is from the p.s love range by primark I picked this up a while ago but it got buried in all my other makeup and I haven't got round to using it till now . So it is a highlighter crayon these can be very useful for highlighting your inner corners , cupids and brow bone  So is it any good I hear  you ask ? 

Well to be honest it ok it the not the worst its not the best ! I think the thing that lets this product down is the  texture . Let me explain it has a very stiff chalky texture which makes it very hard to bend out and nobody wants to see just a line of white somewhere on there face now do they  ?

I have been using this on my brow bone to highlight my arch but I have found i have had to use just little bit of concealer just to bend the edges and make it look more natural . The colour of the crayon is great a nice pearlescent champagne type colour . It just the blending factor that lets it down I think you would have use this before your foundation sets so the creaminess of the foundation helps to blend it. So those our my thoughts great product just doesn't blend well but the price it's better than you think I think was around £2 but dont qoute on me it been a long time since I purchased it .

My Prefect Red Lip !

Hey guys I know we will be going in spring soon although you wouldn't know it by the weather However I thought I would share my perfect red lip combo so lets crack on!

I am going to be honest since going blonde I have loved the freedom of being able to play with my make up because I am not so limited as I was with red hair . But find I red lipstick that doesn't make you look like a clown is hell of lot easier any way enough babbling let me tell you about this red lip.

It consists of a primark lip liner in red it doesn't have a number or shade name but it has a slightly orangey undertone . So I line my lips with this because I red lip look so much better with a crisp lip line. Over that I then put the younique lipstick in vain I lived in this over the festive season as it is just the prefect red for me this has slightly pink undertone . The two together look amazing and the younique lipstick already had shine to it so no need for gloss.

Primark Foundation Review

Hey guys so today I am going to be telling you my thoughts on the primark foundation.I have been  using this for over month so I think I can give you a well rounded review on this product .

So let me let you a bit about this foundation it is a oil free formula and has vitamin e with in it . It is a medium coverage and is a semi matte finish .Is any of this true you ask. Well I can believe it is enriched with vitamin e as it moisturising on the skin when you first put it on  but then as the day goes on it dries out and you have to spray with a setting spray to bring it back to life if that makes sense.  Semi matt is the way I would describe this foundation as it has a very natural finish to it but it doesn't look flat on the skin there is a little bit of glow going on .


Coverage wise I would say it s buildable but I  would say it is light to medium coverage as it is not very thick texture it is quite thin and runny . However I think thats what makes it semi matt because it not just thick foundation that looks cakey and flat on the skin it has that natural subtle glow to it . I actually like that is a squeezable tube and not pump I think you have more control this way some of you may disagree plus my pumps always stop working.


So who would this be good for I think this is generally this is an all rounder foundation unless you have very dry skin because then it is just going to cling to all your dry bits . I think if your oily it going to be great I am combination normal to dry and it works great on me . For £2 I think is it an awesome little foundation and great for beginners as it is really easy to worth it .It goes on easily  with fingers ,sponge or brush very versatile its that good I have been reaching for this over my dior. The colour is good match on me but I dont know if it  would be for everyone as there is only three shades light, meduim, dark. Hope you all enjoyed this post and found it helpful .

P.S love Face Powder

Hey guy so today I am going to talk to you about primark makeup range face powder I have been using this ever since I go so I think I can give a well rounded review .

So first all I would like to say that for £2 this an bargain the colour is a good match but doesn't give you too much extra coverage. Secondly this powder is very finely milled so it is not at all cakey you can use it every where even under the eyes and it doesn't settle. It set you make up amazingly well it last a good 4/5 hours before you have to touch well at least on my dry skin .

Even I have to powder every couple of hours with this I dont I have just have spray my face every now and then to stop it settling as it does after few hours of wear .  If you have oily skin I think this would be great and as I say its only two pounds what ! I am going to be reviewing the foundation next but so far its a great range and all the range is the manchester store so if your interested get down there soon .

Primark Haul Lashes And Nails

Hey guys so last Monday we had a make up haul from primark this week have lashes and nails so lets crack on .

So the lashes I probably wont wear but my sister does when she goes out so will be taking pictures and reviewing them for you all. To let you know how long they wear for ,are the comfortable to wear, how to the edges start to come way ect.

So we got all the lashes they did so we have : natural,sultry, dramatic  and volume my sister has already worn the natural ones so will put that review up soon . I might have to keep up this blogging three times a week to keep up with all the content I have to write lol what do you guys think?  do like three times a week?  Let me know anyway I have gone off on a tangent now . How ever if theses lashes are good then they will definitely be my go to as they are only £1 .So even if you only use them one for £1 I wouldn't complain .

Now nails so there are three sets of nails one of which I have already worn and reviewed and that is the pink ones with the butterflies on so will link that here . The other two sets we have are some white and pink ones which look very funky cant wait to see those on very summery although it nearly over now :( . The last ones are mint green with birds on again quite spring summer but we will make it work lol. The UK weather  just does what it want any way so I am sure they will come in handy.

Any way that my little haul for you all hehe I will be back in September now with another blog post where is the year going guys . I saw on twitter the other day somebody saying its like less than 20 Fridays till Christmas what ! Any hope you enjoyed and see you all soon.

NOTD: Primark False Nails

Hey guys so today is a NOTD I dont think I have ever done one of these but I heard so much about primark's false nails I have to try them for my self .

So I have the pink butterfly nails on today I have naturally long nails so I wouldn't normally wear falsies . However I broke one of my nails very far down so chopped them all off and got my sister to put theses on for me . I used the glue provided and I have to say they feel very study and not like the could pop off at any minute.The design is very pretty and perfect for summer I will miss theses summer colours once September comes and fall set in . Now the bit you all dying to know and having been sitting at you computers saying yes Emma they look very pretty but do they last ?

Well as you read this blog post it been a week since they have been a applied and they popped of on the second day so all in all I would say is there great for a night out or special occasions. If you want something that lasts a bit longer then I would recommend getting the done professionally . They are great fun if you want if you some funky nails for night but any longer and they will pop off here there and everywhere .

Primark Make Up Haul /First Impressions

Hey guys so I recently went to primark and raided the make up section to try out and review for you guys as I had heard such great things online .

So as you can see I got a bit of everything you should I have seen the checkout guys face. He asked if I was going out that night and when I said wasn't . He was  like well then why do you need all this make up and was errr long story. Oh the cons of being blogger people think your crazy ! Any way getting to the point the only things I didn't get  were mascara because I forgot oops. Concealer because it was stick from and I dont like them like that. Lip gloss because I am  not overly keen on glosses .

Now lets start with bases the foundation I have tried out and will be being reviewed first so all I am going to say it I think it would be great for our oily or normal skin girls . Then the powder is in light the same  as the foundation very finely milled . Then i got a cream blush because the powder ones did look very pigmented and just looked a bit naff to be honest the this reminds of the NYX cream blushes a bit sticky.

So lip products wise (my favourite things ) I go two liners that on first impression are really good and have great colour pay off and I got red and pink . Then three of the liquid lipsticks in nude,pink and red which are very glossy and the nude one apply quite patchy but we will see . Then a lipstick in whisper which is a frosty pink which is quite creamy cant comment on lasting power yet .  I also got a lip crayon which is meant to be nude but is very pink but has good colour pay off .

Now eye shadow I got two pallets one matt one shimmer the matt ones don't have that much pay off I have to say. The shimmer is better but it hard to find good matt shadows it doesn't matter if they are high end or drug store shimmers are easier to get right . The last think I go was a nail polish for 80p! and its great that all I am saying. I also go a highlight crayon witch is really nice love iridescence colour.

So all in all my first impressions is it is a great affordable make up line that ranges form 80p to £2.50 so it super affordable.  The products are good quality for the price apart form the matt shadows but that the case with most brands . All in a great affordable make up line especially if your new to make up . Hope you guys enjoyed this post and found it helpful and free free to share this post with your friends if you did .
